During the month of August, the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea will host demonstrations focusing on stone sculpture by three Louisville artists whose works are regularly featured at the center. Sculptor William Duffy will demonstrate his stone carving techniques on Saturday, August 6 at the center. A self-taught stone carver, Duffy has won numerous sculpture awards and has worked full-time as an artist since 1980. His sculpture has been shown throughout the U.S. and is in numerous museum collections including the J.B. Speed Art Museum in Louisville.
