KY 1937 to be closed for repairs, weather permitting

Weather permitting, KY 1937 at the 0.2 mile marker (Lawrence County) will be closed Thursday, August 18, from 8 a.m. until about 4:30 p.m. for repairs. Highway District 12 Maintenance Superintendent Todd Moran said that the cross drain which runs underneath the pavement at this location will be replaced. This requires cutting through the pavement to remove the old drain and install a new one. If heavy rain prevents this work on Thursday, Moran said it will be rescheduled for Friday, August 19.
