Big Sandy Community and Technical College (Prestonsburg) will start a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) cohort in January.  The program will host its final pre-admission conference before the September 1 application deadline at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 24 on the Prestonsburg campus . Kimberly DeRossett, coordinator of the LPN program at BSCTC, said the conference is free and attendance at a Practical Nursing pre-admission conference is mandatory for students who seek admittance into the program.
