According to an article from WYMT, a drone flying overhead put a halt on a football game. On August 27th, during the Pikeville/Letcher Central game of the Pike County Bowl, officials stopped the game temporarily after a drone was seen hovering above near the field. The game was put on hold around ten minutes while authorities searched for the drone’s operator to make him fly the drone a safe distance away. Pikeville won the game with a score of 30-6.
