On August 27^th Morehead held its first annual Pride Festival.  According to Morehead State’s Trail Blazer, the festival provided what was said to be Morehead’s first-ever public drag show, along with over 50 vendors, live music, and kid friendly activities. Executive Director of Morehead Pride David Moore said he thought now was a great time for the event as more people are being accepted and they wanted to show their support. An estimated 500 people attended and raised $300 dollars.
