A new dove hunting field has been added in the upper reaches of the Dewey Lake Wildlife Management Area in Floyd County. The six acre field will be accessible to dove hunters with valid Kentucky hunting license, Kentucky migratory game bird-waterfowl permit, and Harvest Information Program confirmation number. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife migratory bird coordinator John Brunjes reminds dove hunters to check the public dove field listing on the department website for the latest dove field information. Hunters may access a map, detailed directions and GPS coordinates of all public dove hunting fields at the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife webpage at fw.ky.gov.
