Maysville Woman Arrested by FBI

ABC News reports a Maysville woman was arrested by the FBI Thursday. 56-year-old Marie Castelli was allegedly promoting ISIS-inspired attacks, using social media to advocate U.S. based terrorist attacks. Castelli is charged with knowingly transmitting threats online and lying to the FBI when agents confronted her about her activities. She appeared before a federal judge Friday, who ordered her detained pending further orders from the court. She was released to the U.S. Marshall’s Office of Kentucky. The FBI said there was no current public safety threat based on the arrest and was not related to the September  11th anniversary.
