Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes will be on the Prestonsburg Campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College September 21 to host a GoVoteKY program. BSCTC will be one of 20 stops Secretary Grimes is making on her GoVoteKY.com Tour to promote voter registration before the October 11 deadline. Grimes told attendees at Georgetown College they have “made it easier to register to vote with GoVoteKY.com” and they now want to make it easier to vote and encouraged contacting state representatives and county clerks to back an early voting plan in the state. The Secretary also asked voters to not become a statistic in poor voter turnout this year and head to the pools November 8. Grimes will hold her forum at BSCTC Wednesday September 21 in the Student Center.
