If you have a budding artist for a child, we have some great news. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is having their annual Adopt-A-Highway Make It Yours Art Contest. The objective of the contest is to increase environmental awareness and educate children about the “devastating effects of littler and to change attitudes and behaviors about littering.” There are four age groups, ranging from 5 to 18 years old. All entries must be postmarked by Monday, October 31, 2016. Full rules and the entry form can be found at transportation.ky.gov.
