Governor Matt Bevin has appointed Colonel M. Blaine Hedges, of Louisville, as Commissioner of the State Council for Kentucky’s Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission, effective December 1. Bevin recognized Colonel Hedges as a man of “distinguished character” that has exhibited “exceptional leadership and management skills.” The Governor said the Colonel’s “strong personal character will be a great asset to our administration and to the citizens of our Commonwealth.” Colonel Hedges called it an “honor and privilege to be named as the Executive Director for the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs” and looks forward to “creating enduring economic opportunity across the Commonwealth.”
