Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium will host a variety of Halloween-themed events later this month. The EKSC will host a Halloween Laser Spooktacular at 7pm, Friday October 28, featuring the Fright Night Laser Show. The show will feature Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man,” “Purple People Eater,” and “Monster Mash.” Admission is $5. Then on Saturday, October 29, the EKSC will host its annual Halloween Party, featuring planetarium shows, Fright Night laser shows, activities, spooky science demonstrations, and a costume contest. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children and senior, and children under four get in free. A free Haunted House for children will also be held in the Prestonsburg campus Student Center.
