The mystique of the drive-in theater was revived last night as the Friends of Middle Creek lit the Middle Creek National Battle Field with four hours’ worth of fright-night films. Spear headed by Friend’s Commander Michael Warrix, the free film festival, dubbed Fred Fest, is being offered as an opportunity for young people to experience the nostalgia of the drive-in movies their parents would have known. The first showing Monday Night netted an audience of over thirty people; some from as far away as Campton. Screenings will continue through at least Wednesday Night. Showings begin at 6:45. A concession stand is available with all proceeds dedicated to the Friends of Middle Creek.
