The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people Thursday morning with over two pounds of crystal meth, and over $16,000 cash. The arrests occurred after information was developed concerning a large scale drug trafficking organization approximately 5 miles west of London, where a search warrant was obtained and executed. Sheriff’s deputies and the sheriff’s new K-9 team located over 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, $16,237 cash, pills, marijuana, scales, trail cameras, three handguns, a homemade small caliber weapon, and one shotgun. The suspects are Rick Bowling, 58, Michelle Savage, 43, and Kenny Jones, 54. Bowling and Savage were charged with multiple drug related charges, such as trafficking and possession, as well as possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Jones was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication and promoting contraband after taking two needles into jail. They were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
