The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship and Appalachian Regional Commission have offered free registration for the first 100 participants of a two-day Entrepreneurship Summit scheduled for November 17-18 on the Prestonsburg Campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College. The regional summit is for high school and college educators and community leaders in the Appalachian region. The theme this year it “Entrepreneurship in Appalachia.” All attendees will receive certification in entrepreneurship training for curricula that can be implemented immediately in the classroom and will be eligible to compete in a business pitch contest with a $5,000 prize for the winning school or campus.
