On November 3, 2016, the Prestonsburg Police Department in conjunction with the Kentucky State Police Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement executed several narcotics warrants stemming from a six month investigation by Prestonsburg Narcotics Officers. Officers acting on warrants obtained through the undercover narcotics investigation arrested and lodged Gregory Arnett, of Caney; Donnie Bentley, of Prestonsburg; Kernie Wallen; and Don Ferguson.
