BSCTC Announces Halloween Coloring Contest Winners

Big Sandy Community and Technical College is proud to announce the winners of its first-ever Halloween Coloring Contest. The college received more than 2,000 submissions from schools and daycare facilities from across Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike counties. Joshua Ball, director of strategic communications at BSCTC, said it was one of the most fun and rewarding community outreach programs they’ve done at the college and look forward to doing one for Christmas and Easter. Winners received a BSCTC gift pack, including a custom-designed career coloring book produced by the college’s office of strategic communications.

This year’s winners were: Eden Snider, 2-year-old, TLC Daycare; Kyler Conn, 3-year-old, Baptist Learning Center; Allie Smith, 4-year-old, Elkhorn City Elementary School; Kailyn Maynard, 5-year-old, Eden Elementary School; Todd Ward, 6-year-old, May Valley Elementary School, Brody Caudill, 7-year-old, May Valley Elementary School; Aerionnah Conn, 8-year-old, Allen Elementary School; Dylan Castle, 9-year-old, Duff Elementary School; Talli Bingham, 10-year-old, Elkhorn City Elementary School; Harley Fletcher, 11-year-old, Duff Elementary School; and Tessa Ramey, 12-year-old, Elkhorn City Elementary School.
