On Friday, November 4, Hazard Police executed a search warrant at the residence of Kenny Wooton in Big Branch as the result of a narcotics investigation. Items located and seized during the search include marijuana, over 500 pills including Methadone, Oxycodone, Xanax, and Suboxone, and over $2,000 in cash. Wooton was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd Degrees, and possession of Marijuana, as well as a charge of Promoting Contraband when he was found in possession of pills at the jail. Additional charges include eight counts of Illegal Taking/Hunting/Possession of Wildlife.
