Kentucky State Parks will keep several campgrounds open during the fall and winter months. Seven park campgrounds that will remain open include: Carter Caves, Columbus-Belmont, Fort Boonesborough, General Butler, Lake Cumberland, Paintsville Lake, and Levi Jackson. Some water lines may be turned off at these locations in the winter months. Online reservations can be made for these campgrounds at www.parks.ky.gov.
