A Laurel County woman was arrested for wanton endangerment and arson Tuesday morning. Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 29 year old Brittany Blackwell of Ravenwood Circle around 11am November 8 after a complaint had been made. Blackwell allegedly had an argument with her brother, and he went to his room and locked the door to get away. She allegedly said she was going to burn the house down and her brother exited his room after smelling smoke to find a small fire in front of his bedroom door. Brittany Blackwell was arrested without incident and charged with first degree wanton endangerment and first degree arson. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
