The Ashland Board of Commissioners approved the acceptance of canned food to offset Parking Citations only. Persons who have unpaid parking citations issued by the City of Ashland may bring canned food to Ashland Police Department headquarters until November 18th. Each can brought in is a $1 credit toward your parking fine, allowing citizens to pay off parking tickets with food in lieu of cash. All canned goods go towards Thanksgiving baskets at River Cities Harvest.
