Big Sandy Community and Technical College Recognized Kentucky Power for its financial contribution to the college at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System’s Celebration of Philanthropy Awards dinner on Saturday, October 1. Hundreds of business people and dignitaries attended the event, which provides an opportunity for KCTCS and its member schools to recognize individuals, businesses and foundations for their generous philanthropic and voluntary supports of KCTCS and BSCTC. BSCTC President Dr. Devin Stephenson said Kentucky Power’s support has opened many doors for students to attend college and recognized them as a “true community partner.”
