Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Pike County during the afternoon hours of Thursday, November 10. The preliminary investigation indicates that Linda May was traveling North of US 119 in the Belfry community of Pike County. May lost control of her 2002 GMC Envoy and struck a tree. Terry May, 70 of McAndrews, was a passenger in Linda May’s vehicle. Terry May suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at Pikeville Medical Center. Evidence indicates May was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of collision and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
