Connie Estep has been named director of grants development at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Estep has served as a grant writer for the Floyd County school district, as well as worked to establish the Robinson’s Scholar Program at UK and the Booth Scholars Program at Pikeville College, now known as the University of Pikeville. Estep will work in the college’s strategic communications division. She said she believes BSCTC is uniquely positioned to address many of the challenges facing eastern Kentucky in an affordable and culturally relevant way. Dr. Devin Stephenson said Estep provides the college “with a firm foundation in the development and implementation of grants.”
