On Monday, Laurel County Deputy Gary Mehler arrested 53-year-old Albert Chandler of London. The arrest occurred on East 4th Street in London after the subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on a shoplifting charge. Chandler was also charged with additional bench warrants for failure to appear in court on another shoplifting charge in Laurel County and one in Knox County. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
