In Laurel County, Deputies Shawn Jackson and Shannon Jones arrested 21 year old Jackson West of Lily on Thursday night after being dispatched to a single vehicle collision. The deputies detected the smell of alcohol on the driver, who said he had been drinking beer prior to driving. Jackson West was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence-second offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
