The Hazard Police Department is currently collecting toys for their annual Santa with a Badge Toy Drive for needy children. Through November 30th, during regular business hours, motorists may pay any fines by donating a toy. If the fine is $10, a toy valued at $7 may be substituted, and if your fine is $20, a toy valued at $15 or more may be substituted. Regular donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Hazard Police Department by the end of the day on December 16 and can be dropped off 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
