The Johnson County Public Library will be hosting a “Downtown Christmas” Family Fun Day this Saturday. They invite residents to join in making holiday decorations and gifts, with a variety of crafts. Crafters will be able to make tie dye tile coasters, magnetic bookmarks, snowman ornaments, reindeer pinecones, gift tags, and Christmas cards. After crafting, everyone is encouraged to stay in town to enjoy the Christmas in the City festival. The free craft program is from 10 am until noon, and participants can register by calling the library at 789-4355.
