Kentucky State Police, Post 10 in Harlan received a donation Monday. James Curry, State Commander with VFW Post #11139 out of Bell County donated $2000 to Post 10’s Shop with  a Trooper campaign. The donation is to be used to buy 40 new bicycles for kids in Harlan and Bell County. A donor buys bicycles for all the kids in Knox County. KSP Post 10 takes approximately 60 children Christmas shopping with their annual Shop with a Trooper campaign. The kids are taken to Wal-Mart in all three counties and receive $120 in clothes and toys. This is the first year all 60 kids will receive new bicycles in addition to the $120 in Post 10’s district.
