Governor Bevin Meets with President-Elect Trump

Governor Matt Bevin met with President-Elect Donald Trump in Cincinnati on Thursday. The two discussed infrastructure project funding, as well as Bevin’s thoughts on individuals who could fill certain Cabinet-level positions for Trump. The governor seeks the incoming president’s assistance with replacing the Brent Spence Bridge between the Commonwealth and Buckeye State, which was declared “functionally obsolete” decades ago. Bevin believes the loyalty Kentucky had for Trump in the General Election to be favorable for these projects, and called the president-elect a man of great integrity who delivers on his promises.
