A two vehicle crash on Kentucky Highway 15 claimed the lives of a Breathitt County couple Saturday evening. At around 5:23pm December 3, Troopers with Kentucky State Police were called to the Kragan area of Breathitt County in response to the crash. The initial investigation determined a silver 2008 Honda CRV, driven by Leon Moore, 59 of Whick, was traveling south on KY 15, when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a 2002 Chevy pickup truck. Moore and his wife Peggy, 60, were pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver, 42 year old Aaron Worley of Georgetown, was air-lifted to UK Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.
