Two Arrested in Harlan County for Drug Trafficking

On Friday, December 2, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Department and Appalachia Narcotics Investigations arrested two individuals who are suspected of bringing hundreds of prescription pills into Harlan County. James Graham, 47, of Bell County, was arrested by Kentucky State Police in Coldiron and was discovered to have over 100 oxycodone pills in his vehicle. Graham was also in possession of two pistols. Detectives with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Department and A.N.I. also discovered his supplier, Terry Rowe, of Georgia, was in the area and he was found in possession of Oxycodone and over $1000 in cash. Both men were charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, with more charges expected.
