The Big Sandy Singers and Band held its annual Christmas concert on Monday, December 5 in the Gearheart auditorium on the Prestonsburg campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College. An elite, audition group of vocalists and musicians, the Big Sandy Singers and Band are scholarship students at BSCTC. Clayton Case, director of fine arts at BSCTC and executive director of the Mountain Arts Center, said the Christmas concert is one of the most enjoyable events they look forward to every year. He added the students have been playing weekly shows at area high school throughout the fall semester and was proud of them and their work.
