The Mountain Arts Center and Big Sandy Community and Technical College held a Christmas celebration at the MAC on Wednesday, December 7. More than 1,500 people filled the lobby of the MAC to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and slide down the slide, a replica of what appeared in the film “A Christmas Story.” MAC Executive Director Clayton Case thanked employees and volunteers for helping  put on the celebration, saying it was an outstanding event they want to hold each holiday season.
