Floyd County Schools Superintendent Dr. Henry Webb announced twelve schools will be represented at the state Student Technology Leadership Program in April. Student teams and individuals competed in the service category. Dr. Webb commented that he and board team are very proud of their STLP teams and coordinators for their hard work. Twenty-two team projects and nine individuals will advance to state competition. With the implementation of Digital Conversion, he added more students have access to technology and kids are becoming more adept with using it.
