The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting Traffic Safety Checkpoints throughout the remainder of December and New Years. Holiday enforcement efforts begin this week and last through the new year. The road checks will be conducted more often in an attempt to clear the roadways of impaired drivers. Seatbelt and car seat usage will also be aggressively enforced through patrol and road checks. The checkpoints will be conducted between the hours of 2pm and 6am 7 days a week.
