A line break has lead to a boil water advisory. Paintsville utilities has issued a boil water advisory for customers at Route 40 west beginning at the intersection with Route 580 Pickle Fork and continuing to the pump station on Route 40. Other customers in the area who experience low water pressure Tuesday afternoon are included in the advisory. Paintsville Utilities customers are advised to boil their water before using it for drinking, making ice, cooking, washing dishes, brushing teeth, or food preparation. The advisory is in effect until further notice.
