A Laurel County man was arrested Monday evening, December 26, after deputies investigated a complaint. Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Napier was dispatched to South Stewart Road after receiving complaints of a male subject walking around businesses in the area and looking in the windows of cars. When Deputy Napier arrived at the scene, he located the subject, Michael Gunter, 22, and determined he was under the influence. Gunter was charged with public intoxication-controlled substances and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
