Complaint Leads to Arrest for Meth Manufacturing in Bell County

On Sunday January 1, 2017 at 12:20am, Bell County Deputy Chris Barnes received a tip regarding someone making methamphetamine at a residence in Middlesboro. Deputies Nick Capps and James Taulbee assisted Barnes at the residence on Ralph Mays Lane off KY 74. Gary Elliot, 40, and Kala Williams, 20, were found in a shack behind the home with drug paraphernalia in open view, as well as tubing and a gas generator. Spoons filled with morphine were also found. Elliot was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of controlled substance, and served with four outstanding warrants for non-support and failure to maintain insurance. Williams was served two bench warrants.
