Big Sandy Community and Technical College has announced it has extended registration for spring classes to Monday, January 9 due to inclement weather. Jimmy Wright, dean of student services, said the inclement weather prevented many students from completing the registration process. Wright added that the weather will not deter them from serving the students. Admissions and financial aid staff as well as faculty members will be on hand from 8am to 6:30pm to assist students. Wright said it is important for new students to complete the college’s admissions application online and bigsandy.kctcs.edu and complete the FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov.
