Around 9:30am January 5, units from the Louisa Police and Fire Departments responded to a two vehicle collision on KY 3 just south of the Food City intersection. During the course of the investigation it was determined that unit 1 was traveling southbound when she lost control of her vehicle and began sliding into the path of unit 2 which was traveling north. Unit 2 was unable to stop, striking unit 1’s vehicle in the passenger side. The driver of unit 1 was pronounced dead at Three Rivers Medical Center.
