On Friday, January 6, Knox County Deputy Sheriff Sidney Wagner responded to a burglary complaint at a residence on KY 3436 in Corbin. After arriving at the residence and conducting an investigation, Deputy Wagner located and seized approximately 15 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, a marijuana cigarette, several used meth pipes, a set of digital scales, a large quantity of plastic baggies and $2400 in cash. Deputy Wagner arrested Jerry Wayne Caldwell, 43, and Tammy Caldwell, 42, and charged them with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
