On January 10, around 11:40am, Knox County Deputy Chad Wagner was approached while investigating a traffic crash in front of the White Apartments on KY 11 in Heidrick. Deputy Wagner was informed of a person in the apartment stairwell that did not live there. The incident was investigated and Jerry Hubbard, age 41, was found crouching in the stairwell with a glass pipe, containing suspected methamphetamine, and a lighter. Hubbard was arrested for possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
