A Laurel County man suspected of stealing a tailgate has been arrested. William Allen, 35, was arrested Tuesday, January 17, after information developed on the whereabouts of a suspect vehicle allegedly involved in the theft of a tailgate that had reportedly been stolen from a vehicle at a car lot on January 15. Deputy Cody Faulconer investigated the scene and found the tailgate. Allen was charged with theft by unlawful taking and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
