Olive Hill Man Sentenced to 11 Years for Child Pornography

On Thursday, January 19, 2017, an Olive Hill man was sentence to 11 years in federal prison for child pornography. U.S. District Judge David Bunning sentenced James Keith Wolfe, 55, for receipt of child pornography and also ordered him to serve a 20 year term of supervised release following the completion of his sentence. Wolfe had admitted to possessing thousands of images and hundreds of videos containing child pornography. The investigation began in 2015, when authorities made a direct connection to Wolfe’s computer while he was using a peer to peer file sharing network to download the images. The investigation was conducted by the FBI and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney David Marye.
