A group of students from Allen Central High School created a PSA to eliminate hate. The video was created after students in Kayla McKinney’s freshman English class read “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Despite the setting of the book almost 100 years ago, the students found the racism and prejudice that took place then was just as prevalent today. With help from online media organization The Holler, the students created the PSA video in the hopes to send a message of love back to people across the country.
