Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a triple shooting which occurred off Huff Road, just before 12:30am January 24, 2017. Deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a woman being shot. Upon arrival, Gordon Browning, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his truck and pronounced dead at the scene. Two women were found with multiple gunshot wounds and transported to UK Medical Center for critical treatment. Two subjects were arrested: Michael Paul Collier, 36, was charged with murder and two counts of first-degree assault; and Kathy Gail Middleton, 35, was charged with tampering with physical evidence after allegedly removing the weapon used in the shooting. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
