Around 7:30am January 22, 2017, Bell County dispatch received a call of a single vehicle wreck on Highway 188, about a quarter mile off of Highway 25E behind Faith Temple Church. Bell County Lieutenant Dan Tuttle responded to the scene to find a red Ford Mustang that had gone off the side of the roadway. The vehicle almost traveled into Yellow Creek and was laying on its side. The vehicle was abandoned and no injuries were reported.
