After obtaining a search warrant, Bell County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jared Smith arrested 37-year-old Pauline Upton of Middlesboro on Friday, January 20, 2017. The warrant was for trafficking controlled substance 1st degree- 1st offense- methamphetamine. Once under arrest, a search of Upton revealed a small amount of methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia. In addition, Pauline Upton was served two outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court, and no operator’s license.
