Governor Matt Bevin and Attorney General Andy Beshear are conflicting over the House Bill 2 Legislation that was passed earlier this month. In a video released on his Facebook page, Governor Bevin called Beshear “dishonorable” for not defending the bill which would require a mother to have an ultrasound performed before having an abortion. Beshear released a statement in regard to the comments, saying Bevin was providing his own “alternative facts,” and that he was defending agencies sued over House Bill 2, moving to have the entire case dismissed as to those agencies.
