On Wednesday, January 25, 2017, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Department were contacted in reference to a burglary on Monday, January 23. Ronnie Curtis reportedly went to a residence in the Ages community and asked for a glass of water, knocking the resident unconscious. He bound the victim’s hands and feet with duct tape. Curtis was charged with burglary and unlawful imprisonment and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
